IPPC Application Site Reports (ASR)

A site report is required as part of a permit application to operate a Part A installation under the PPC Regime. Gaining Ground specialises in the production of Application Site Reports (ASRs) and offers a competitive service for producing yours.

Our straightforward report format is fully compliant with Environment Agency Guidance. It ensures that all your current and future land pollution potential is determined and any ongoing requirements are identified to ensure that your site complies with all Permit conditions.

A Stage 1 ASR comprises:

• Detailed site walkover and discussions with Site or Environmental Managers;
• A consideration of the environmental setting and pollution history of the site
• The development of a Conceptual Site Model (CSM)
• A review of the Pollution Prevention Measures (PPM) that are in place
• The determination of the likelihood of pollution from the installation

The report will detail the results and make recommendations for any Site Protection and Monitoring Programme (SPMP) that may be required.

The Application Site Report (ASR) will normally be provided within two to three weeks of receiving a commission.

The cost will depend upon the site size and complexity and will generally start from £800.00 excluding VAT.
